Handcrafted Bodysurf Handplane

Built for the ones who chase the feeling, not the forecast. This handcrafted wooden handplane blends lightweight paulownia with deep, earthy sapele stringers, giving it that classic, soulful look only real timber can pull off. Every curve is shaped to keep you tight in the pocket, lift you out of the foam, and send you flying down the line with nothing but salt water on your face.

We carve and sand each one in our workshop, then finish it off with custom-made strap plugs and a comfortable, secure strap—because if you’re going to swim into a good one, your gear should keep up.

This is the little board that turns closeouts into fun and waist-high peelers into something magic. Throw it in your backpack, keep it in the car, or stash it under your arm on the way down the track.
